Heads up Bottega Veneta will be releasing its latest spring/summer 2020 collection live from Milan on 19 September 2019, at CET 20 September, Singapore and Malaysia time. For autumn 2019, creative director Daniel Lee believed that simplicity is beauty. And so he wanted to express a collection that is simple, that will evoke pleasure, joy, desire and a sense of beauty. He did just that with sleek leather ensembles in dark palettes. The women’s dresses were polished and men’s layered knitwear pieces came paired with armour-like outerwear. It was truly a presentation of sharp tailoring. What the audience witnessed was the outcome of Bottega’s DNA and Lee’s vision for the brand. How will Lee impress his audience this time? Stay tuned to find out. Meanwhile, take a look at our previous spring/summer 2020 Runway Report here in three parts – I, II, and III. This time around its Bottega Veneta who are presenting their Spring-Summer 2023 show live from Milan. Set to take place at Milan Fashion Week 2022, the event will broadcast on 24 September. All eyes will definitely be on what Creative Director, Matthieu Blazy will showcase in his sophomore collection for the brand. Late last year the brand promoted the former design director, making him the creative director of the Maison and the successor of Daniel Lee. Following Lee’s departure last November, the 38-year-old stepped up to the job and debuted his first collection for the fashion house in February. Like his inaugural Bottega Veneta collection, Blazy’s highly anticipated follow-up campaign is expected to be nothing short of spectacular. Check out the teaser below. That said, Bottega Veneta has spared no expense in ensuring its Spring-Summer 2023 Show will be one to watch. The brand has commissioned renowned Italian architect and design pioneer Gaetano Pesce to design its Summer 23 show space. Renowned for his inventive use of colour and materials as well as asserting connections between society and architecture, Pesce will no doubt help elevate the presentation in his own indomitable way. The Bottega Veneta Spring-Summer 2023 presentation will live stream from Milan, Italy on 24 September 8PM 25 September 2AM Singapore. Get a front row seat and watch what unfolds here. One of the buzziest labels in fashion right now, Bottega Veneta's new Spring 2020 collection debuted during Milan Fashion Week with a stunning assortment of new handbags and shoes stealing the spotlight on the runway. You've no doubt spotted creative director Daniel Lee's cult-loved creations all over your Instagram feed, not to mention myriad street style appearances current accessories have made in New York and London through Fashion Month thus far I've personally fallen victim to the craze, investing in two bags and a pair of shoes this season. The new 2020 lineup includes an eye-catching mix of bags in punchy colors from Kelly green to cobalt blue and tangy coral mixed with neutral tones and earthy shades like rust, daffodil, and black, all featuring the label's signature hand-woven intrecciato technique reimagined through Lee's modern lens. Chunky chain-link straps and sleek v-shaped metal accents punctuate shoulder bags, while a couple of new clutches are introduced, including a black-and-white animal-print style and minimal envelope silhouettes. Even a wooden top-handle bag came down the runway, proving that natural elements feel ultrafresh in juxtaposition with tailored leather separates and sharp suiting. As for the shoes, a disco-ready pair of mirrored square-toe pumps stole the show, while the rainbow effect continued via new woven sandals in bright shades of blue, red, and purple, as well as soft pastel hues and optic white and black versions. Square-shoe heels and thong sandals also came down the runway en masse, feeling like fresh and easy-to-wear versions of silhouettes we've grown to love from the brand. Ahead, witness all the new Bottega Veneta bags and shoes that walked the runway in Milan, from oversize crossbodies to killer clutches and bright and sexy sandals.
